I absolutely adore this little cafe. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is definitely a gem. They offer a drive thru which I usually opt for, as my boyfriend and I like to make a pit stop here for breakfast in the mornings. When you pull in you are greeted by the smiling and upbeat cashiers at the window, which makes for a nice start to your day. Literally, everything I have tried here is good. I usually order an iced vanilla chai because they are simply sublime. I tend to switch it up for what I get for breakfast but one of my favorites is a ham egg and cheese on a croissant. Their croissants are perfectly light, flaky and delicious. They also have some very yummy lunch options. My favorite sandwich I've tried from here is the bbq chicken sandwich. It is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Disclaimer- if you order this be prepared to be in a food coma for a little while. They offer so many delicious things it's hard to tell you about them all. Another great thing that they offer is a rewards card. If you buy a certain number of coffee smoothies or iced teas they will give you one of your choice for free. Skip Dunkin donuts and Starbucks and come here because they will make you feel appreciated and much more satisfied! :-)

Went there today for the first time and loved everything about it! Great service and great food. We had a bagel egg and cheese and an omelete. The capuccino was awesome and I highly recommend the banana and strawberry smoothie.

Much improved from last time in a few months ago. Small neighborhood place, lots of seats, free wi-fi, decent coffee. Nice place to get some quick work done.

A gem hidden in plain sight, that's what Chez Cafe is. I've actually been coming here for almost two years now, which shocks me because A) gosh time flies fast and B) how have I not reviewed them yet?? Due to the nature of my work, I am on the road A LOT, so places that serve up good coffee and yummy bites, have free wifi and a cozy place for me to sit and rest (or work) a while, PLUS great customer service are special spots in my week to week routes. The folks at Chez Cafe are down to earth and very warm, and they take care of the customers in a quick enough manner to satisfy even the 30 minute lunch crowd. My personal favorite thing to order here is the soup; homemade fresh every day, it is made in small batches so if you show up too late, there's a good chance you will miss it. I am a HUGE soup lover, and it's so hard to find good soup in Florida since it's so hot outside. People, we sit and eat in the AC any way! Soup for all!!!! They have an extensive yet simple menu, and the chicken salad sandwich is also pretty amazing. I enjoy their breakfast on the rare occasion, and the coffee is free unlimited refills while you sit in the cafe. The prices are amazingly fair, and you get a great bang for your buck. Oh, they also have a drive thru!!

Coffee is great! Vegan salad is good with blackened chicken Carrot soup was delish (first time having food). Believe they have a lunch special, Soup/salad/1/2 sandwich. They have almond Milk, soy, smoothies!! I mean they have anything you could probably want to much on. Service is attentive and the drive thru is an added plus Highly recommend!

The jig is up!! I discovered this little gem of a cafe 5 years ago, and it still an awesome little place to work with your laptop, eat fresh, yummy sandwiches and salads, and of course, great coffee and natural juices! A+ now all of Broward county knows!!!

From the road, Chez Café appears to be nothing more than a typical low end type of drive through place which you would think would have a divey interior along with low end truck stop food, but you'd be wrong. It is in fact a very nice super friendly café serving various sandwiches, wraps, salads and desserts which all have that extra special caring homemade touch about them. It's a neighborhood hang wherein most of the wait staff know the patrons and a good number of the patrons know the wait staff. Hence, they are not only super friendly to their regulars to possibly even more so to someone, in this case me, who they didn't recognize. You really couldn't ask for a more friendly accommodating staff, a more relaxed atmosphere or a café with a better Wi-Fi system; be sure to ask for the password. I went for the Turkey Apple Swiss with their homemade raspberry sauce, and I'm glad I did. It was a sandwich superlative in freshness, flavor and taste; one of the best ever. They have an alright selection of beers as well as that general ambiance of comfort and relaxation that comes with a smallish neighborhood setting.

Don't go by the look of the outside. Nice and comfy inside. Great cappuccino. Very personable staff. If I didn't live up north, I would go here again. My mother-in-law wants everyone to know it is clean. My husband thought the front was nice. And they have drive thru.

You simply cannot find a cuter and more delicious local cafe in this area! Everything on the menu is phenomenal and the service is always great! If you ever need a calm place to study, read, work, email or just hang out the sit down area is very comfy. But if you are in a rush, there's a drive-thru!

I visit Chezs about 3 - 5 days a week and have their Indian Spice chai latte. Always great!!! Also their hummus and veggies sandwich is also very good. Owner and staff are all very friendly. Great local place to get friendly service and tastey breakfast or lunch. Only complaint is they are closed Sundays

Fantastic find! Visiting from LA, staying at a nearby airbnb, I searched Yelp for "coffee wifi." I really lucked out choosing Chez Cafe. This place is perfect for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dessert, working, relaxing with a book... The friendliest staff, a choice of tables/chairs or comfy seats, plenty of electrical outlets, relaxed atmosphere with great service. I look forward to coming back on my next trip to Ft. Lauderdale!

Boomerangs surprised me. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but has a great space inside with room to sit at tables, a bar, and a small living room area. If it isn't too hot out, there is some seating out back, and a drive through window for when it is too much hassle to leave the air conditioned comfort of your soccer mom Escalade. There is also a fairly comprehensive deli counter for sandwiches, which I did not try. The baristas are friendly. While I was there an elderly regular customer was sitting on the couch with a cold, and the baristas all came over frequently to make sure she was ok, and to help her with cough medicine. Now that is great service. She made a fantastic "I hate this stuff" face when she took a spoonful of medicine. Ahh I love old folks. Oh, and at 11am there was a guy in the corner playing jazz guitar. Heck yess. Wireless internet is proper free (just a WEP password, no annoying login page or expiring coupon system) and fast. Best part? The bathroom (men's anyway) has a comfy recliner in it so you can sit and contemplate before or after using the facilities. Number one? Number two? I haven't seen a bathroom environment so inviting for such critical decision making. Easily the best coffee shop I've been to in south Florida so far. It is just too bad south Florida is so damn big and it takes hours to drive to any of these places.

Super friendly service and everything is made right in front of you. Love this small business. I got a dark mocha iced latte and a kids vanilla shake. Both were yummy. The women behind the counter helped me with my order and recommended the iced latte. Great experience.

Cute , quaint & pleasant coffee shop. Though I don't drink coffee I stopped in for an awesome Kale strawberry pineapple mango smoothie with almond milk. They also have proteins as add ins. The staff is super friendly. I felt so welcome and they assisted me with finding what suits my healthy eating lifestyle. Good service always makes an experience so much better. I sat on the couch listening to some morning tunes and reading articles all on my phone through their free wifi. The place is quiet and really comfy. It's a nice local spot. Another great treasure Pompano Beach has to offer.

The best Breakfast place ever, war welcome, smily faces kind, exotics smoothies, to start a morning on the right foot stop by drive throw. Let them create your own special wake up call, FREE wifi, beautiful and warm feels like home.

Always friendly and has a home like feel to it. They usually have someone playing acoustic guitar, a TV to watch the news, books to read and lots of little tables and a few couches to sit at. Great coffee, and pretty tasty snacks. They have things like muffins, scones, bagels, wraps, sandwiches.. pretty typical yummy cafe food :) They also have a drive thru if you're in a rush! And if you have a large order to place for your coworkers, you can call ahead and they'll have it ready for you.

Really cozy and comfortable coffee shop with extremely friendly staff. I've been here a few times, and every time I've had a really good experience. Sipping a latte with in a real mug while working on the laptop, and nice light eats as well. Don't let the exterior dissuade you.

I have driven past this place many times and never had any desire to step inside based on the look of the outside. Only once you walk inside it is like you have entered another world! The staff is super friendly and helped me make a decision in the large menu of choices. I had an iced coffee that was a great start to my breakfast and thought it was an exceptional! To eat I enjoyed the traditional eggs Benedict that had a very flavorful hollandaise sauce and the eggs were perfect shape. Ham was good, but sliced a little thinner than I would have liked, but they put enough pieces to make up for it. At the request of the server I went with breakfast potatoes and they were perfect. Cut to the perfect consistent size to be sure they were cooked all the way through with a nice seasoning. They have a drive-through and a pretty big menu board with lots of items worth exploring! Outside of the negative look of the outside... Extremely small and awkward parking lot, but beyond that everything else about this place is golden!

I love this neighborhood coffee place. I'm not actually a coffee drinker so I cannot vouch for the coffee. I'm a tea drinker, and they have the best assortment of chai tea. Although recently I have not been able to get the chocolate chai tea, my favorite. The food is fresh but I feel I bit expensive for the amount. The staff is always super friendly. If you're in the area I highly recommend a visit.

LOVE this place! Super-friendly staff and outstanding eats! This my go-to spot with girlfriends because it's the only place we haven't been kicked out of for gabbing too long. And that is a testament to how warm and welcoming the staff is. My favorite things to order are the garden wrap with peanut sauce and side of coleslaw, the Choco-Loco smoothie with a shot, tuna salad sandwich on croissant, and the toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Their coleslaw is maybe the best I've ever had. The smoothies can be made with soy, almond or rice milk. Don't want the extra calories of a croissant? Get the tuna on a salad. The staff has always been happy to tailor any item to our liking. I thought that "other coffee shop" had amazing Chai Tea. Not as good as this! Ask the server for her favorite flavor additions to this already yummy beverage - because it gets even better. Coffees, bagels, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, grilled paninis...it's all good. But it's the warm atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff that really make this place great.

This is a place that the locals know about, has a drive up for the one on the go people, (this is not a speed in and out drive through) or you can walk in and have a seat in the friendly atmosphere. Lots of people reading and doing computer stuff, hell one guy was writing a book on his computer, with a nice cup of Java. The menu is posted on the wall, has a good variety as the day goes on, from eggs and bagels to panini's of your choice with all the extras. Great place.

Okay - I had to bring down the rating - after my first point the Pumpkin Spiced Chai Tea Latte was never heard from or scene again..... They offered me pumpkin latte - but no Chai. If something is selling out - keep on menu for us PLEASE!!!

Extremely friendly staff, gave lots of good recommendations for other places to explore nearby. The food was absolutely incredible and at a reasonable price. It's hard to get a chai tea latte done right, and the vanilla chai was delicious. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

Chez Cafe is a great local spot! Their spirulina frozen mojito and avocado almond smoothies are like nothing you've ever tried before! My new favorite lunch is the turkey apple panini with raspberry sauce...delish!! Service is always fast, friendly and accurate. Everyday they have different specials, so it's a great way to try out your old (and new!) menu favorites.

Tip: now named "Chez Cafe" We were visiting from out of town and found this place, with its creative menu and friendly staff, a great alternative to the usual chain coffee shops. The food and coffee were good but it was the free WIFI that enticed us to come in so we could check our email and download movies for our flight home. On the downside, it was a totally empty when we arrived mid-morning (though we could hear customers pulling up to the drive-thru) and we were outnumbered by the staff; also the chalkboards on the wall behind the counter had nothing written on them, not even drawings, giving the place a bit of an incomplete, just-moved-in feel but I'm sure at busier hours of the day it feels more bustling and since the name had recently changed, perhaps they're just going through a bit of a reinvention at the moment. On the plus side, there were comfy chairs and couches, reading material and a TV showing the local news, which gave it some atmosphere.

I used to go to this place a lot and it used to be good. I just went there yesterday after not going for about a year (moved to the other side of town) and apparently there are new owners. Not sure, but what I AM SURE OF is the coffee is very weak. I went through the drive through and I asked for light cream. When I got the coffee it looked like 90% milk & 10% coffee. Since i'm used to not getting what I want at drive through windows I asked the lady to pour out some of the contents and put more coffee in it. After I got it back with the lid on it I assumed it was fine and drove off. Now I know why the coffee looked so white. My guess is they use about 4-5 actual coffee beans per gallon batch of "coffee". Now, OBVIOUSLY I am exaggerating HOWEVER the coffee is WEAKER THAN ANY OTHER PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO IN 40 YEARS. Now look folks, if you have a lamp store with a small coffee pot in the back and pass out free coffee to your customers that's one thing, but THIS IS A COFFEE STORE! Make a decent cup will you? Looks like i'll just skip this place because I can't get a decent cup of coffee there so why go there? Even Dunkin Donughts has better coffee! Think i'll drive a couple blocks further to get the Starbucks i'm used to. I welcome comments from the owners because i'm a fair person. I definately don't like the light brown water they call coffee. What a joke! I'm listing this place as pricy because the cup of coffee I got wasn't woth drinking if it was free. If the coffee was decent the price would have been fine.
